Each organisation which has more than 20 or more employees have to make the contribution into the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) Scheme. An employer has to fulfil some responsibilities.   • The employer has to maintain all the details and KYC documents of their employees.
  • The employer has a duty to provide all the services and facilities which are related to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF).
  • The employer is liable to bear all the administration expenses which are related to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) Scheme.

EPF Employer Login Portal

In order to log in to the Employer Login Portal, you have to follow some steps which are given below but make sure that the bank is listed on the list. To log in to the EPF Employer Login Portal, steps are given below:

  • First of all, go to the official website of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
  • If you’re already registered yourself or your firm on the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). then you just have to enter your Username and Password of your account and if you are not registered yourself or your firm then you have to follow the process to register and then log in.
  • Make sure that you entered Username and Password correctly
  • Click on the Sign in
  • New page will appear on the screen
  • Then upload all the details to generate the Electronic Challan Cum Return (ECR)
  • Click on the Electronic Challan Cum Return (ECR) Submission to generate the Temporary Return Reference Number (TRRN).
  • You have to upload the monthly contributions before generating the challan.
  • After the verification of the details of the contributions, you can download the challan
  • Click on Download Challan
  • You will see the Temporary Return Reference Number (TRRN) at the corner of the Electronic Challan Cum Return (ECR) and Temporary Return Reference Number (TRRN) is only valid for 15 days from the date of generation.

Employer UAN Payment

Employees who are working in any organisation which has more than 20 employees and make contributions into the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) Scheme can request to transfer the PF amount into Universal Account Number (UAN). Universal Account Number (UAN) is an account number which is linked to multiple Member ID Numbers with one account. Employers have to fulfil some responsibilities for their employees who are working in their firm. Employees who applied to request for transfer of EPF Claim then the employers have to check all the details to approve the claim. The employer can approve the claim of the transfer and he can also reject the request for a claim. If the employer finds some mistake in the application form then he can reject the application for transfer. If the details of the employee do not match with the company record than the employer can reject the application to transfer the EPFO claim.
